Complete Questionnaire Part 1
Once you have submitted your questionnaire our staff will review your details and complete your Divorce Applications
Check and Sign Application
Once you have received your completed divorce forms, you should check them thoroughly for any discrepancies and sign them.
Post Application
You should then take or post to your local County Court the following:-
- Divorce Application (including 3 copies).
- Marriage certificate or duplicate of certificate (NOT a photocopy).
- Court fee of £593 (unless you are receiving benefit).
Response
Within 14 days of sending your Divorce Petition you should receive a Response from the other party.
Complete Questionnaire Part 2
Once you have submitted your questionnaire our staff will prepare your Application for Conditional Order
Check and Sign App for Conditional Order
Once you have received your completed divorce forms, you should check them thoroughly for any discrepancies and sign them.
Post App for Conditional Order
You must now wait a minimum of 20 weeks from the date of the Divorce Application until you can apply for your Conditional Order.
Receive Conditional Order
You will then receive a letter to confirm the date on which your Conditional Order was pronounced in Court. The Conditional Order is a court order declaring that your marriage is in the process of being dissolved.
Post “App for Final Order”
You can apply for your Final Order 6 weeks after the date of the Conditional Order. You will need to post to the courts the Application for Final Order ensuring the document is signed over 6 weeks from the date of the Conditional Order.
Divorce Certificate
The court will send you a Final Order, this is your divorce certificate to confirm your marriage is officially dissolved.
